As a 21 year military veteran and a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, Deana has over 29 years of experience in healthcare and nursing. She is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Health, Life Care Planning, and Holistic Nursing. She has dedicated over 29 years to working with individuals dealing with catastrophic injury and disease, pain, and chronic conditions. Navigating health and wellness for her patients has been at the forefront of her life, as well as her own personal journey.
Deana in is the final stages of completing certification with The Functional Medicine Academy, and has various training in functional medicine and health optimization of which some include the School of Applied Functional Medicine and The Institute of Functional Medicine. This model integrates an approach to health through the lens of the individual's genetic makeup and expression of those genes.
